The Chapter of the Cathedral of Florence is pleased to announce the opening of its office to guided tours, with the aim of making known the history of one of the oldest institutions of our city, and to "taste" its works of art , glimpses of real life, anecdotes and curiosities to rediscover our cultural identity.

By visiting the historic headquarters, the former church of San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro, which overlooks Piazza del Chapter, a few steps from the Duomo, it will be possible to come into contact with unthinkable treasures of a world that has never disappeared, still current and capable of inspiring : among the objects on display, medieval manuscripts and parchments from the archive, singers' maces, ancient instruments for secret voting, the curious branch of San Giovanni Gualberto, as well as other Florentine "bricciche".
